Position Overview:
In this role the manager will lead a dynamic team of engineers in the development validation verification integration and certification of the Integrated Modular Avionics System. The manager will also support maintenance and customer service for in-service airplanes. This role emphasizes engineering quality and meeting our commitments while fostering a collaborative safe and engaging team environment.

Position Responsibilities:
Manage and mentor a team of engineers encouraging professional development and an inclusive atmosphere that values diverse perspectives.
Oversee planning and execution of engineering projects ensuring alignment with organizational goals while focusing on quality and safety.
Partner with suppliers to establish project plans manage execution and ensure compliance with technical requirements promoting teamwork and shared success.
Maintain resource and skill forecasts to meet project demands ensuring the team is well-equipped to tackle challenges effectively.
Lead initiatives to enhance engineering processes and products fostering a culture of innovation and proactive problem-solving.
Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and certification processes through effective oversight of technical approaches and products.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers stakeholders and global teams to facilitate effective communication.
Promote a culture of safety and quality encouraging team members to raise concerns and suggest improvements.
Work Authorization:
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at Everett WA.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering engineering technology chemistry physics mathematics data science or computer science.
2 years of experience in leadership or management role.
Ability to travel for business as needed
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Experience in the development integration and verification of aircraft systems.
Knowledge of FAA certification processes and safety analysis.
Experience with qualification testing or lab testing.
Familiarity with engineering processes and methods.
Proven track record managing risks and issues to resolution.
Proven ability to lead with the Boeing Values
Demonstrated ability in team building coaching and employee development to enhance team performance and engagement.
Solid technical background with the ability to guide and mentor the team.
