Job Summary

Position Title: Ultrasound Technologist
Location: New York NY 10019
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Hours: 37.5 hrs/week (7.5 hrs/day 5 days/week)
Compensation:

Local Pay: $2287 Weekly
Travel Pay: $2815 Weekly

Position Overview

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist to perform high-quality ultrasound examinations while supporting Radiologists and ensuring optimal operation of ultrasound equipment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented technically skilled and committed to providing excellent patient care.

Responsibilities

Prepare and position patients for ultrasound procedures following departmental protocols
Operate adjust and maintain ultrasound equipment ensuring safety and functionality
Clean set up and perform minor equipment adjustments as needed
Monitor and maintain inventory of supplies
Assist with orientation and training of new ultrasound staff
Capture diagnostic images and upload to PACS for physician interpretation
Answer calls schedule exams and coordinate patient transportation when necessary
Perform additional related duties as assigned

Required Skills & Qualifications

Certification: ARDMS (RDMS) required
Experience: Minimum 2 years as an Ultrasound Technologist
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Strong administrative technical and communication skills
Excellent attention to detail accuracy and discretion
Ability to troubleshoot and make sound decisions in a clinical setting

Education Requirements

Associates Degree in Diagnostic Medical Technology
OR
High School/GED completion of an accredited Ultrasound/Sonography program

Certifications

RDMS
BLS
