Your future role

The Reporting and Project Finance Manager willparticipatein overall Project Management process jointly with the Project Managerand lead finances for projectsin order toimprove the project overall have a combinedresponsibilityof looking after Project Controlling Activities &Reporting & Budget controlling for Ireland.

They willbe themain partner for the Financial Strategy success of the project contributing to negotiation processes to secure project successand providefinancial analysisadviceand guidance to support the project team in making the best business decisions for the project.

Well look to you for:

  • Support the Project Manager in the risks and opportunities process and sign-off of contingencies/committed savings.
  • Be responsible forthe financial performance of the project.
  • Provide reliable andaccuratereporting data on time both for site and headquarter management
  • Collectconsolidateanalyseandvalidatefinancial datain order toproduce actual budget and forecasts draw conclusions on budget/actual variances and recommend corrective action
  • Ensure that the financial structure of the site itsprocessesand systems are compliant with all internal and external requirements
  • Guarantee that internal control rules are correctly applied within the site
  • Interface and coordinate with project controllers operations controllers to report and cascade information
  • Be a business partner to operational teams by proposing improvement and/or corrective actions on their scope
  • Participate in the change management initiatives (systems/application roll-out organisational changes )

  • High levelofexperience inProjectFinanceManagement
  • Qualifications (Masters/MBA) in Finance or equivalent experience
  • Solid organisational skills and ability to prioritise
  • Communication andTeam workingskills
  • Excellent knowledge in MS Excel
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
  • Previousexperience inthe railway industry isdesirable
  • An auditing and/or project operational background would be an advantage
  • Knowledge of SAPis desirable
