Description

In this role the Network Engineer will support the design deployment and overall health of our network infrastructure. You will work with a range of technologies to maintain LAN/WAN and wireless environments conduct system analysis and assist with long-range network planning. The position offers the opportunity to manage multiple projects troubleshoot complex issues and contribute to a stable efficient network experience for users across the organization. Responsibilities
  • Perform telecommunications network analysis design implementation and maintenance across the organization.
  • Conduct engineering studies to determine system requirements and long-range network planning.
  • Design and deploy LANs WANs and wireless networks including servers routers switches hubs UPS systems and related hardware.
  • Analyze and resolve network hardware and software issues efficiently and accurately.
  • Create and maintain documentation for network configurations network mapping processes and service records.
  • Provide end-user support and training when needed.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously without direct supervisory responsibilities.


Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in IT Computer Science or a technology-related field; OR equivalent experience.
  • Two years of experience in a related IT role or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • CCNA Route & Switch certification or equivalent demonstrated knowledge.
  • Strong hardware troubleshooting experience.
  • Working technical knowledge of network hardware protocols and internet standards.
  • Hands-on experience with routers switches firewalls load balancers and network monitoring tools.
  • Ability to research and evaluate networking issues tools and solutions.
  • Strong documentation and analytical skills.
  • Must have and maintain a valid drivers license.
  • On-call availability up to 10 days per month.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods and operate computers tools and network equipment.
  • Ability to inspect cabling in floors/ceilings and lift moderately heavy hardware.
  • May require travel including occasional overnight stays.
