Job Summary

The Senior Accounts Payable Specialist will manage full cycle AP for multiple skilled nursing facilities acting as the central liaison between vendors facility leadership and internal AP personnel. The ideal candidate is detail oriented highly organized and experienced in handling complex reconciliations vendor issues multi entity invoice processing and change of ownership (CHOW) transitions. This role requires strong analytical ability excellent communication and the capacity to work independently in a fast paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage full cycle Accounts Payable for multiple facilities ensuring accurate and timely payment processing
Serve as primary contact for all AP related inquiries from facilities and vendors
Support CHOW transitions and new facility onboarding including vendor setup and data transfers
Enter invoices process payments ACHs and checks within required timeframes
Validate invoices for proper GL coding pricing accuracy and compliance with contracts and policies
Research and resolve multi month vendor reconciliation issues and discrepancies
Reconcile vendor statements and manage credits short pays and outstanding AP items
Track recurring expenses and contracted services for accurate monthly posting
Assist with AP functions for month end close
Support 1099 review and year end vendor updates
Assist with special projects as needed

Qualifications:

5 years of hands on AP experience in a high volume or multi entity environment (senior experience required)
Prior experience in skilled nursing healthcare or multi facility operations strongly preferred
Experience supporting CHOW transitions and onboarding new facilities
Strong understanding of GL coding accruals prepaids vendor management and reconciliations
Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables XLOOKUP data analysis)
Exceptional attention to detail with strong analytical and problem solving skills
Professional communication skills and ability to interface with vendors and facility leadership
Highly organized able to prioritize and meet deadlines across multiple facilities
Comfortable taking ownership of complex AP issues independently
