Working Pattern: To be agreed with line manager but will average at 37 hours per week over a year and will typically be between 35 and 45 hours per week Monday to Friday. Occasional weekend and Bank Holiday work may be required paid in accordance with Council Policy.

Leicestershire County Council is looking to recruit a Waste Management Technician to support and develop the management of waste operations at its Recycling and Household Waste Sites (RHWS) and Waste Transfer Stations (WTS).
About the Role
Candidates must be self-motivated hard-working willing to learn and have good customer care skills.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operation of the RHWSs WTSs and relevant waste contracts including the operation of the Councils weighbridges and carrying out service standard and duty of care checks.
