About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer with a strong background in design and design review for solar projects. The ideal candidate will ensure that all civil and structural aspects of solar installations meet industry standards project specifications and regulatory requirements. This role is critical in guaranteeing the integrity safety and efficiency of solar farm infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
Design Review & Validation
- Conduct thorough design reviews of civil and structural plans for solar projects including foundations mounting structures and site layouts.
- Ensure compliance with local codes international standards and project-specific requirements.
- Identify design risks and propose cost-effective practical solutions.
Civil & Structural Engineering
- Provide technical input on site grading drainage systems access roads and other civil works for solar farms.
- Collaborate with design teams to optimize layouts for efficiency and constructability.
Quality Assurance
- Validate structural calculations for solar mounting systems and foundations.
- Review geotechnical reports and ensure proper integration into design.
Coordination & Documentation
- Work closely with project managers electrical engineers and EPC contractors to align civil designs with overall project goals.
- Prepare and maintain detailed review reports compliance checklists and recommendations.
