The Opportunity

Our People team is looking for a Talent Partner (12-month fixed term contract) in our Talent Acquisition team based in Port Kembla.  

As BlueScope continues to grow as a business we will continue to strengthen and develop our people. We need to ensure we have the right mindsets capabilities and skills for the future.

What Will You Do

Reporting to the Talent Lead you will join an established and collaborative Talent Team who collectively manage all recruitment for BlueScope across Australia. Be a trusted advisor to the business and our People team as you work across your portfolio to manage the whole recruitment lifecycle.

As a Talent Partner you will:

• partner with the business to understand talent needs now and for the future
• manage end to end recruitment
• create innovative recruitment campaigns to generate talent pools including social media advertising
• identify and deliver best practice talent solutions including the use of online assessment tools and video interviewing
• be a champion of Our Purpose and employee brand by ensuring an exceptional candidate experience

• knowledge of recruitment and talent assessment frameworks
• a focus on candidate and employee engagement and experience
• exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills
• understanding of different sourcing and attraction methods
• strong attention to detail to ensure data is maintained well in our ATS (SmartRecruiters)
