Youll play a key role in helping more children and young people access safe stable and nurturing care. Youll walk alongside new and existing foster carers through recruitment assessment Shared Lives training and early support ensuring they feel confident informed and ready to make a difference.
Youll lead information sessions complete Step-by-Step assessments provide regular supervision and work closely with intake to understand the needs of each placement and keep the back-of-house admin in order. Every interaction you have with a carer directly contributes to stronger outcomes for children and young people in Southern & Bayside Melbourne.
Youll be part of a supportive values-led team that collaborates closely shares knowledge and takes a trauma-informed approach. With structured supervision reflective practice and opportunities to guide group learning your work will be varied purposeful and will continually develop your capability.
