Job Summary

Job Title: GIS Analyst Project Lead
Location: Columbia SC
Duration: 12 Months (Contract)

Note:

Must be a current South Carolina resident
No relocation permitted

Responsibilities

Create digital and hard-copy maps using advanced GIS and mapping tools
Perform GIS data collection maintenance and spatial analysis
Update database tables to reflect GIS feature changes
Conduct quality control to ensure spatial accuracy and data integrity
Assist in developing and maintaining procedure and technical documentation
Perform software and process research testing and evaluation
Complete additional GIS-related tasks as assigned

Required Education

Bachelors degree in Geography Computer Science GIS Physical Science or related field

Required Skills (Ranked)

3 years of experience with GIS/mapping applications
3 years of experience with spatial databases
3 years of cartographic experience
1 year of experience with database design

Preferred Skills (Ranked)

Experience with ArcGIS Pro
Experience with SQL databases
Experience with ArcGIS Roads & Highways Extension
