Job Summary

We are looking for a Security Architect to design document and enhance security architecture for Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) systems. This includes SSPs MFA enhancements access control structures and technical security assessments.

Responsibilities:

Develop System Security Plans (SSPs) for moderate-impact systems.
Create data flow diagrams using the Florida Digital Service template.
Support MFA architecture privileged access design and audit logging compliance.
Evaluate system architectures and recommend improvements aligned with NIST CSF.
Partner with DEP system owners to document controls and technical risks.

Qualifications:

5 years in security architecture engineering or technical cybersecurity roles.
Deep knowledge of NIST frameworks and state cybersecurity standards.
Experience with SSP creation data flow modeling and control design.
Certifications preferred: CISSP CCSP CISA GIAC.
