For our site in Chalon-sur-Saône which specializes in the manufacture of glass bottles the Quality Manager (M/F) will be responsible for:
- Acting as the point of contact for customers and suppliers for all quality-related issues
- Reviewing external non-conformities and managing the corresponding corrective actions
- Overseeing and ensuring the completion of internal and external audits
- Lead and coordinate continuous improvement projects aimed at optimizing processes reducing non-conformities and enhancing customer satisfaction.
- Validate customer specifications and required quality levels.
- Define appropriate standards and control procedures.
- Ensure the development and compliance of the quality system.
- Coordinate document management.
- Participate in defining quality rules related to product identification traceability and protection.
- Prepare management reviews.
- Lead internal training sessions and ensure the deployment of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Define monitor and analyze quality performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective or preventive action plans.
- Ensure communication and coordination with the group to guarantee the alignment of quality standards and the sharing of best practices.
Qualifications :
Required profile:
- Professional English essential (spoken and written)
- Leadership and ability to unite teams around the quality approach (team of around ten people)
- Rigorous organized and detail-oriented.
- Strong focus on results and continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication negotiation and teaching skills.
- Ability to work across departments and interact with an international group.
- Ability to analyze and synthesize information for reporting and decision-making.
Education & experience:
- Masters degree (engineering quality QSE or equivalent).
- Proven experience (5 to 10 years) in a quality role ideally in an industrial environment in the pharmaceutical or glass packaging sector would be a plus.
- Proficiency in applicable quality and regulatory standards (ISO 9001 ISO 15378 ISO 14001 ISO 45001 GMP HACCP or other industry-specific standards).
- Experience in project management and change management.
- Experience in cross-functional management or quality team management.
