Technical Records Officer – Darwin

As our new Aircraft Technical Records Officer at Chartair Pty Ltd youll play a vital role in supporting Continuing Airworthiness Management of Chartairs aircraft fleet capturing tracking and managing the records that underpin our safety and compliance. The Opportunity

This role is an integral part of a small united team. Under direction from the Continuing Airworthiness Manager (CAM) you will:

• Prepare track capture and store records of aircraft operations and maintenance in the Maintenance Management Software (MMS) database;
• Report complex issues that may hinder completion of component changes or compliance;
• Provide support to Engineering and Maintenance team;
• Ensure all safety and regulatory compliance targets are achieved;
• Maintain aircraft technical records and aircraft logbooks;
• Create and distribute work packs to the Maintenance organisation for our fleet of Cessna 208B 402C 441 310R and 210 general aviation aircraft;
• Processing completed work packs in the MMS:
• Assist in planning and scheduling the in-house Maintenance organisations resources to complete aircraft maintenance;
• Ad hoc duties as required.

The successful applicant will demonstrate:

• Timely and accurate data entry skills;
• The ability to communicate effectively with and between the Maintenance Control team and engineers in the Maintenance Organization;
• Attention to detail;
• Self-motivation in a fast-paced team environment;
• Well-developed capacity to manage the competing demands of a busy environment work to deadlines and maintain attention to detail;
• Good understanding and knowledge of the Microsoft suite;
• Experience with aviation maintenance tracking programs (Aerotrack or Takeflite desirable however training will be provided).
• Highly organised reliable and proactive.
• Strong teamwork with the ability to work independently.
• Patient resilient and adaptable.
• Willingness to travel and work flexible hours as required.

A minimum two years of related experience is required. Aviation experience is desirable but not essential.
