Basic Job Functions:
Responsibilities of the Ladle Crane Operator include but are not limited to safely performing all tasks associated with operating and maintaining the Ladle Crane and supporting the Melt Shop operation by transporting liquid steel and assisting with any other needed operational Ladle Crane Operator must complete the crane certification. Nucor teammates are expected to participate in and promote an atmosphere of cooperation and teamwork. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate lead and uphold safety policies practices procedures and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Current or previous experience working in a Melt Shop
- Heavy equipment experience in steelmaking applications
Preferred Qualifications:
- Hot metal crane experience
