- Work at the forefront of innovation drafting and prosecuting patent applications in cutting-edge fields like biologics gene therapy and diagnostics.
- Engage in strategic counseling helping clients develop robust intellectual property portfolios and navigate the complex landscape of regulatory exclusivities and patent protection.
- Conduct thorough freedom-to-operate patentability and due diligence analyses to support corporate transactions and strategic partnerships.
- Collaborate with a global network to manage foreign patent prosecution and craft compelling responses to the USPTO.
- Partner with litigation teams to provide technical expertise in patent enforcement and defense.
What Youll Bring:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school and active membership in a State Bar.
- Registration to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).
- 1-5 years of experience in patent prosecution particularly within a biotechnology or life sciences practice.
- An advanced degree (Ph.D.) in a relevant life sciences field such as molecular biology biochemistry or genetics.
- Exceptional analytical writing and communication skills.
