Registered Nurse (RN), NICU, Part Time, Nights

PIH Health is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at PIH Health Good Samaritan Hospital (PHGSH) in a part-time regular position. As a Registered Nurse at PIH Health you will play a crucial role in our healthcare delivery system by providing direct nursing care to patients. This position involves comprehensive patient assessment development and implementation of care plans patient education and continuous evaluation of patient outcomes. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the flow of patient care while coordinating with other healthcare team members and disciplines to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

In this role you will be working within PIH Healths nonprofit regional healthcare network that serves approximately 3 million residents across Los Angeles County Orange County and the San Gabriel Valley region. Key responsibilities include conducting thorough patient assessments developing and implementing individualized care plans providing patient and family education administering medications and treatments as prescribed monitoring patient conditions documenting patient information accurately collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams and ensuring compliance with all hospital policies and regulatory requirements. You will also be expected to participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain current knowledge of nursing practices and healthcare trends.

The position requires working in a fast-paced environment where you will need to prioritize tasks effectively make sound clinical judgments and respond appropriately to emergency situations. You will be expected to demonstrate compassion and empathy while providing patient-centered care that aligns with PIH Healths mission and values. As part of our NICU team you will be working with newborns requiring intensive care applying specialized knowledge and skills to ensure the best possible outcomes for our youngest patients. You will collaborate closely with neonatologists pediatricians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care for infants with various medical conditions.
