AECOM is actively seeking a creative highly talented Growth Leader Water to assist in supporting our Municipal Infrastructure business development with a focus on Water Wastewater and Conveyance. This role can be based out of AECOMs offices in Mississauga Markham or Hamilton. The role will have you coordinating and collaborating with leadership at all levels of the business driving client centric relationships culture and initiatives. An exciting opportunity to work with clients across the Greater Toronto Hamilton Area developing some of the most innovative and impactful water projects and solutions in Canada and the World.
The responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to those listed below:
- Identify upcoming municipal infrastructure pursuits with emphasis on the municipal water/wastewater/conveyance markets that are consistent with AECOMs water business line and growth strategy.
- Serve as AECOMs primary point of contact with clients and continually considering how clients can best be served by AECOM and ensuring high-quality service is provided.
- Understand AECOMs obligations on current client contracts.
- Regularly meet with client staff from multiple levels of the clients organization to obtain feedback on AECOMs performance and identify opportunities.
- Monitor client satisfaction and addresses performance issues.
- Ensure public sector clients become a sustainable source of repeat business.
- Develop marketing and client capture strategies.
- Lead the proposal development process including Statement of Qualifications Technical Proposals and Presentations
- Manage support and/or lead project teams on the design of water and sanitary sewer conveyance systems; municipal water and wastewater treatment facilities; infrastructure condition assessment and rehabilitation; master planning and other studies.
Qualifications :
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree 10 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
- Proven water wastewater or conveyance planning design and/or construction experience.
- Must have business development experience and knowledge in at least one of the following: water or wastewater treatment conveyance systems planning studies condition assessments rehabilitation and repair projects
Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree in Civil or related Engineering discipline preferred
- Proven track record with client account management relationship development brand elevation project pursuit execution and engineering/technical sales.
- Experience in the full spectrum of client service starting with positioning activities proposal development and delivery of project designs.
- Exceptional technical skills and experience managing/delivering municipal infrastructure projects would be an asset
- Desire to serve and lead in a deliberate and focused yet fast-paced team environment.
- Familiarity and experience in Project Management and Contract Administration and complex work environment
