Position Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Location: Aldie VA
Duration: 29 Weeks
Shift: 8:50 AM 4:30 PM MondayFriday
Pay: $1425/week

Job Summary:

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Licensed Practical Nursefor an exciting job in Aldie VA.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor for seizures and provide appropriate first aid interventions.
Administer seizure rescue medication according to the students care plan.
Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) including toileting hygiene transfers and positioning.
Perform two-person lifts safely in collaboration with school staff.
Support safe oral feeding practices monitoring for swallowing risks.
Maintain a safe and supportive environment for a non-verbal wheelchair-dependent student.
Collaborate with school staff guardians and healthcare providers as needed.
Document daily nursing notes health events and any administered medications.
Observe and respond to changes in the students condition.
Follow all school district policies nursing standards and student care plans.

Qualifications:

Active LPN license in Virginia (required).
Current CPR/BLS certification (required).
Experience with seizure disorders and rescue medication administration preferred.
Ability to perform safe two-person lifts and assist with mobility needs.
Experience working with non-verbal or medically fragile children preferred.
Knowledge of safe feeding practices and choking-risk monitoring.
Strong communication documentation and teamwork skills.
