We are looking for a motivated and detail-driven accountant who is passionate about process improvement financial control and producing timely accurate management and statutory reporting. What Youll Be Doing
- Support strong financial governance through accurate balance sheet reconciliations and robust internal controls
- Drive improvements by challenging existing processes and helping implement enhanced workflows
- Manage finance project work alongside BAU responsibilities
- Contribute to a smooth and efficient month-end close including preparation and posting of journals
- Assist with year-end audit delivery working closely with external auditors
- Support preparation of statutory financial statements for allocated entities
- Prepare bimonthly GST returns and ensure accurate submissions
- Uphold the highest standards of financial accuracy control and service across the business
What Were Looking For
Essential:
- Qualified accountant or currently studying (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Excellent analytical written and verbal communication skills
- Intermediate Excel skills and high attention to detail
- Curious proactive and committed to continuous improvement
- Interest or understanding of financial markets
Desirable:
- Financial services experience
- Experience with Oracle Financials Hyperion (HFM/Planning)
- IFRS financial statement preparation
- Experience preparing management information packs
