TheData and AI Platformsteam which is part of theArtificial Intelligence Center of Excellence organizationis responsible for thecreatinga seamless experience forengineersto harness data analytics machine learning artificial intelligence agentic and visualization capabilities through a unified platform across the enterprise from research and development clinical manufacturing commercial and enabling functions acrossallgeographies. The teamis responsible forthe self-service platform ecosystem developer experience and exploration of emerging technology.

Part of theData and AI Platformsteamare a group of Platform Engineerswhoareresponsiblemanagingcomponents thatform theenterprise analytics platform.This platformwill be thedigital engine that brings together investments we have made into a unified experience for colleagues that take us to the next level of value creation.It powers next generation insights by developing enterprise-grade data foundations allowing data to flow horizontally enabling a versatile analytics environment and embedding insights into day-to-day work to create a digital data-driven culture.

How You Will Achieve It

In this roleyou will act as the capability leadand product ownerforthebusiness intelligenceplatformsthatservesa diverse group of colleagues ranging from novicebusiness analysts to expert data scientists across the enterprise.The role willrequirethe ability to flex between technical engineering of the platformandhands on working knowledgecreating business intelligence and data visualization applicationsasa user of the platform.You will also be accountable for a team of 5 colleagues.

You may have a software development background or an engineeringbackgroundor you were raised in a modern data analytics culture from the start of your career.You will have the ability to work with technology vendors support resources delivery partners Pfizer stakeholders and apply emerging andtraditional technologies for analytics improvements in support ofenterprise analytics platform strategy.

Role Responsibilities

• Accountablefor the design engineering security compliance release managementgovernancefinancial management product roadmap and service / operational oversight ofdatavisualizationplatforms

• Relationshipmanagementandoversightof external partners / technology suppliers (including software license solution providersand cloud hosting agreements

• Financial managementof platform infrastructure software and service providers

• Partnering with senior leaders to understand businessobjectivesand influence solutionpatternto standard enterprise analyticspattern.

• Lead enterprise-wide datavisualizationtechnical oversight and mentorship for geographically dispersed colleagues and contracted team members

• Technical coordination and collaboration with Pfizer Digital service providers both within and outside theAI CoEteam: Digital Client Partners Digital Architecture Digital Creation Centers and Enterprise Platform and Security teams.

• Partner with User Success team tomaintainkey informational content drive platform adoption andchampion a strong user community

• Fostering an engineering culture of high performance collaboration and continuous improvement.

• Oversee the operations ofglobalenterprisedatavisualization platformsthat include Tableau SpotfirePowerBI andpossible futureinvestmentsenvironments globally and supportingself-service tenants:

• Automate operation installation and monitoring of the datavisualization platformcomponents in our infrastructure stack

• Manage and resolvecriticalsupport issues with a high degree of technical complexity.

• Ensure document knowledge in the form of incident notes technical articles and contributions to knowledge bases or forums within specific areas of expertise.

• Measure andmonitorservice and support performance and health (SLAs KPIs etc.)

• Collaborate with engineeringand supportteams onplatform lifecycle management

• Develop andmaintainoperationalrun-booksand training curricula for support teams

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Computer ScienceEngineering or related fieldand 8 years of professional experienceor Masters Degree and 7 years of experience or PHD and 5 years of experience.

• At least5yearsengineering or technical role experience ideally involving a complex and rapidly evolving software/product

• At least5years of experience with BI and data visualization developmentand/or platform management

• Proventrack recordof executive level presentations and ability to effectively communicate to multiple audiences and partners

• Grit when faced with technical issues- youdontrest until you understand what is happening and why things are not working.

• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills with an aptitude for learningnew technologies.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skillsand the ability tointerface withboth technical and non-technical individuals as needed.

• Deep interest and enthusiasm for transformative data visualization and insight generation

• Experience withBI platforms likeSAP BOJ MicroStrategyTableau SpotfirePowerBI or similar tools

• StrongWindows and/orLinux system administration experience.

• Comfort working withreading code.

• Experience working with at least one type of relational database and SQL.

• Hands-on experience andproficiencywith DevOps and information tools e.g. JIRA Confluence SharePoint Yammer etc.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with authentication and authorization systems like LDAP Kerberos AD and IAM

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS Azure and GCP.

• Experience debugging networking issues such as DNS resolutions proxy settings security groups

• Some knowledge of dataengineering/business intelligence

• Some knowledge of JavaScript

• Agile /SAFECertification
