As the Business Development Manager for our EMEA SDR team youll lead a group of smart motivated Sales Development Representatives who act as the first interaction point between Mews and the market. Your team will be responsible for high-quality lead qualification conversion enrichment and commercial preparation that sets our Account Executives up for success. This is a strategic hands-on leadership role for someone who loves coaching junior talent optimizing processes and influencing the full top-of-funnel motion.
Youll create clarity velocity and consistency ensuring SDRs engage prospects with strong research the right context and a consultative mindset. Youll maintain the SDR function as the face of Mews delivering exceptional prospect experience at scale.
Were building a vibrant sales hub in Barcelona. While Mews remains remote-first we believe in the power of in-person connection and growth. Thats why this role is based onsite three days per week working directly with your SDR team from our Paseo de Gracia office.
What youll be doing:
- Drive operational excellence by maintaining strong SLAs ensuring best-in-class CRM hygiene and identifying opportunities to streamline and improve execution.
- Lead coach and develop the EMEA SDR team building the next generation of sales talent at Mews.
- Own pipeline quality by defining clear qualification standards and ensuring well-prepared context-rich handovers to AEs.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing Revenue Operations and Sales Leadership to optimize processes and strengthen top-of-funnel alignment.
- Drive performance through data-led insights tracking SQL acceptance conversion rates velocity and other outcome-focused metrics.
What youll bring
- Located in Barcelona.
- Fluent in English additional language.
- 3 years of sales management experience ideally in SDR/inside sales or high-volume contact center environments.
- Ability to develop junior sales talent and operate with a player-coach mentality.
- Data-driven approach with CRM/reporting expertise.
- High energy and optimism you set the cultural tone and lead from the front.
- Collaborative mindset across Marketing Operations and Sales.
- Hospitality or SaaS experience is a bonus.
