Position: OR Tech (Tier 2)

Compensation / Pay Rate

• Salary Range: $25$35/hr (max considered for 17 years of experience)

• Shift Differentials: $3/hr Nights $3/hr Weekends

• On-Call Pay: $3/hr

• Sign-On Bonus: $15000

• Relocation Assistance: Case-by-case

Shifts Available

• General OR (Tech 2) Mixed Schedule (Rotating Weekends) 3 12-hour shifts

• General OR (Tech 2) Nights (Rotating Weekends) 3 12-hour shifts

• On-Call Requirement: Must live within 30 minutes of the facility

Position Overview
The OR Tech (Tier 2) is a skilled Surgical Technologist responsible for preparing the surgical suite assisting during procedures and collaborating with the surgical team. This role provides access to advanced surgical equipment predictable staffing on-call support and opportunities for career growth and continuing education.

Qualifications

• 1 years of OR Tech experience

• Competent to perform as first scrub in at least three of four specialties: Robotic Total Joints Neuro/Spine Vascular Surgery

• Graduate of an accredited school of Certified Operating Room Technicians (CORT)

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) from NBSTSA preferred

• BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross required upon hire

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain the surgical suite with instruments supplies and equipment

• Assist with patient transport positioning prepping and draping while ensuring comfort privacy and safety

• Scrub in and support the surgical team by providing instruments handling specimens and anticipating needs

• Monitor patients and surgical equipment during procedures addressing any concerns promptly

• Uphold sterile technique complete room turnover efficiently and promote a collaborative team environment
