Job Summary

Is currently licensed by the Board of North Dakota respective of discipline with a minimum of a Masters Degree in Social Work.

-Child Pay Therapy
Possesses abilities to effectively problem solve and handle crisis situations. Provides direct clinical care which may include consultations advocacy group counseling/psychotherapy individual and family therapy and educational services. Demonstrates knowledge in developmental and life stage issues for interdisciplinary team. Operates as a member of a quality team in the delivery of outpatient mental health therapy services.

Licenses and Certifications Required Current Licensed Certified Social Worker in the state of North Dakota required. BLS certification preferred. Educational Requirements Masters of Social Work degree from a social work school accredited by the Council of Social Work Education in accordance with the plan of care standard 42 CFR 484. Experience Requirements Previous experience in Medical Social Work or healthcare preferred. Special Skills or Training Requirements Knowledge of laws related to abuse neglect minors etc. along with public and state programs and other community resources. Fundamental communication and interpersonal skills with all levels of internal and external customers including but not limited to medical staff patients and families clinical personnel support and technical staff outside agencies and members of the community. Basic understanding of reimbursement issues and Diagnostic Related Groups (DRGs) and personal computer skills to organize and relay information in meaningful ways using email and word processing.
