Job Summary
About the Role:
Were looking for a caring organized and motivated Vocational Case Manager to support individuals in our B.E.S.T. (Building Employment Skills Training) this role youll help participants build job skills gain confidence and prepare for competitive employment. Youll also connect participants with volunteer opportunities in the community and make recommendations based on their progress.
What Youll Do:
- Help create person-centered plans for each participant
- Manage your schedule and caseload to ensure quality services
- Coordinate volunteer sites based on participants goals
- Complete monthly reports and maintain program documentation
- Ensure compliance with all funding and accreditation requirements
- Track data for billing and reporting
- Meet monthly billable hour expectations
- Provide transportation when needed
- Stay up to date on all required trainings
- Perform other duties as assigned
What Were Looking For:
- High school diploma or GED (Bachelors in social services or related field preferred)
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus
- Strong communication decision-making and leadership skills
- Ability to write and document professionally
- Team player with good listening and comprehension skills
- Comfortable using online job search tools and Microsoft Office
- Able to manage multiple caseloads and stay organized
- Valid drivers license required
Working Conditions:
- Flexible schedule depending on participant and employer needs (may include evenings or weekends)
- Work may take place indoors or outdoors in varying temperatures
- May need to assist participants physically or operate light equipment
- Moderate physical activity (lifting up to 50lbs occasionally)
