Xavier College Preparatory High School in collaboration with the Diocese of Phoenix and the Catholic Schools Office is seeking a dedicated capable and highly qualified Principal with strong intellectual and leadership skills and a commitment to Catholic education for the 2026-2027 school year.
Founded in 1943 Xavier College Preparatory is a diocesan Roman Catholic high school that strives to prepare young women of faith with the knowledge skills and integrity to meet the challenges of a changing global society. From the beginning the Sisters of Charity of the Blessed Virgin Mary (BVM) and their charism have been integral to Xaviers identity and mission. Grounded in the BVM core values of freedom education charity and justice Xavier forms students in a faith-filled community marked by tradition and unitynurtured through an active sacramental life that invites students into prayer and spiritual growth.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Active practicing Catholic faithful to the Churchs magisterium.
- Successful professional experience in school administration.
- Masters degree in educational administration or a related field.
- Certification (or eligibility for certification) as a principal by the State of Arizona.
- Strong spiritual and educational leader with excellent communication skills.
- Preferred: Demonstrated success fostering academic excellence student formation and school culture in a single-gender (all-girls) learning community.
- Dedication to - and ability to build morale around - the philosophy and mission of the school.
- Understanding of the evolving opportunities and challenges of 21st-century education including a focus on Catholic identity academics curriculum and instruction differentiated learning programs and instructional technology.
- Effective communication with a variety of constituency groups including students teachers and staff parents alumnae community supporters local pastors elementary school principals and the public.
- Commitment to assisting students in the pursuit of academic excellence strong moral formation and intentional discipleship.
- Collaborative leadership style working effectively with the school President and other administrators.
- Knowledge of and respect for the history and traditions of the school.
- Humility dignity integrity and professionalism.
