Summary of Role:

As a member of the corporate EHS (Environmental Health and Safety) team responsibilities include developing and managing aspects of the Companys EHS and Sustainability management systems (including policies standards external reporting and stakeholder engagement) and overseeing its implementation. This role would focus on coordinating and responding to customer inquiries on various sustainability subjects including product content compliance obligations.
Essential Responsibilities:
Be the subject matter expert for various product content compliance requirements worldwide (e.g. EU REACH RoHS California Prop 65 etc.) including staying current with revisions.
Work with suppliers to understand their product content and ensure their complete and timely reporting through material content declarations and/or analytical test reports. Verify compliance with GF and global product content requirements.
Manage testing of GF product deliverables at third party labs. Have a deep knowledge of analytical test methods for product content testing.
Responsible for building and timely reporting of our product material content declarations to customers.
Coordinate responses to customer sustainability-related inquiries to ensure 100% on-time delivery.
Assist with other related programs including responsible minerals tracking and reporting.
Other Responsibilities:
Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental Health Safety & Security requirements and programs.
Required Qualifications:
Education Bachelors or Masters in Environmental Engineering or related field from an accredited degree program.
2-4 years related experience.
Software proficiency proficient use of Microsoft Office suite.
Language Fluency - English (Written & Verbal).
Minimal Travel Required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior related experience in the semiconductor industry.
Familiarity with the IMDS (International Material Data System).
Project management skills i.e. the ability to innovate and execute solutions that matter; the ability to navigate ambiguity.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
