Job Summary
Fire Technician Engineering Services Contractor
Location: Perth/Western Australia
We are supporting a national engineering contractor delivering Mechanical Electrical Hydraulic and Fire solutions. The company provides end-to-end project workfrom design to construction to maintenanceacross commercial industrial and mining sectors.
About the Role
The Fire Technician will assist with installation servicing testing and maintenance of fire protection systems. This role suits someone experienced with fire systems who enjoys technical fieldwork and delivering safe compliant solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Install test and maintain fire protection systems (e.g. alarms sprinklers extinguishers)
Conduct regular inspections and compliance checks
- Troubleshoot faults and carry out corrective actions
- Maintain detailed service and compliance documentation
Work collaboratively with electrical and mechanical teams
Ensure all work meets Australian Fire Standards and HSE requirements
What You Need
Experience in fire systems installation or maintenance
FPAA accreditation (preferred but not mandatory)
Strong understanding of compliance standards
Good diagnostic and problem-solving skills
Ability to work both independently and in team environments
