WhatYoullDo
As a Process Engineeryoullplay a critical role in solving our customers biggest challenges by designing andoptimizingdisplay andsemiconductor manufacturing processes. You will work on some of the most advanced and challenging technologies in the world shaping the way process engineering evolves for our business and the semiconductor industry.Process Engineers at Applied enjoya diverseand exciting work experienceno two days are thesameand the challenges are complex and interesting. You willexperiment learn and collaborate with some of the brightest minds in the semiconductorand displayindustries partnering with our globally recognized R&D teams onstate-of-the-artresearch and development projects.
Role Responsibilities:
Design collect data analyze and compile reports ondifficultprocessengineering experiments
Perform hardware characterization ona variety ofdifficultsystems
Troubleshootcomplexproblems perform Root Cause Analysis and resolvea variety ofdifficultprocessengineering issues
Measure film properties andinterpret data
Generate internal documentation for products presentations and technical reports
Communicate and engagewith customers to resolvecomplexprocess engineering issuesor concernsunderlimitedsupervision
Identify select and partnerwith vendorsand suppliers
Implementnew technology products and analytical instrumentation
Serve as a resource for junior colleagues; leadprojectteamsas needed
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in a related field
4-7yearsof related experience
Demonstratesconceptual and practicalexpertisein complex problem solving

YesThe salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location hire grade job-related knowledge skills experience and with consideration of internal equity of our current team addition to a comprehensive benefits package candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program as applicable.
For all sales roles the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
