We are looking for a Senior Hire Coordinator to keep our hire operations running smoothly at the Porirua Depot. Youll be the calm capable customer focused super star who keeps everyone informed equipment moving and hires flowing.

About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated Senior Hire Coordinator with experience in the hire industry to join our team. As a Senior Hire Coordinator youll coordinate end-to-end hire bookings and logistics while supporting the wider team with accurate scheduling and great communication.

In this role youll be running the front hire desk of the Porirua Branch. You will be responsible for coordinating movements between sales the hire desk and yard ensuring machinery and equipment are rental ready and customers are happy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide customers with a professional helpful and friendly service.
  • Coordinate machinery and equipment availability allocations and scheduling to meet customer needs.
  • Maintain clean records in the hire system and support continuous process improvement.
  • Liaise with customers transport and sales to plan deliveries and pickups.
  • Prepare hire contracts and other hire documentation.

What Were Looking For:

Were looking for someone who will hit the ground running ideally with at least 2 years experience in the hire industry (or similar). To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Previous hire industry experience (equipment hire construction supply civil and earth moving industry or similar would be advantageous)
  • Confident coordinating multiple jobs at once.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Solid admin accuracy with great attention to detail.
  • Practical problem-solving skills.
  • A team-first attitude and willingness to help the team where needed.
