The Role
As a key member of the Presidio Dublin operations team the Logistics Manager oversees the end-to-end coordination of warehousing transportation and inventory flows to ensure seamless delivery of products and services. This role drives operational excellence by optimizing processes managing vendor relationships and ensuring compliance with company and regulatory standards. With a strong focus on efficiency accuracy and collaboration the Logistics Manager supports Presidios commitment to exceptional customer service and reliable high-quality operations.
Responsibilities include:
- Work closely with the Distribution Team Logistics Service Providers and 3rd Party Import of Record entities to ensure all shipments (import and export) meet global trade compliance regulations including producing all necessary shipping documentation
- Issue required shipping documents certify with local Chamber of Commerce and legalize with relevant Embassies as required
- Execute sourcing strategies for all international logistics activity evaluate carrier rates and performance
- Carry out detailed lane analysis tracking spend against budget
- Coordinate all day-to-day request for freight rates presenting the best commercial option
- Build and manage internal & external relationships at both strategic and operational level
- Lead coach and develop a team of 6 logistics/compliance professionals.
- Establish performance objectives aligned with service delivery regulatory compliance and continuous improvement goals.
- Manage daily domestic and international shipping activities across parcel freight air ocean and courier channels.
- Serve as the companys operational lead for import/export compliance within assigned regions.
- Ensure compliance with customs regulations security filings (e.g. ISF AES) classifications (HTS/ECCN) and valuation requirements.
- Manage product classification databases and origin determinations.
- Support export control screening processes for sanctioned countries denied parties and restricted goods.
- Develop compliance procedures SOPs and training materials for business users.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across logistics workflows and compliance processes.
- Maintain documentation governance and records retention policies.
Required Skills and Professional Experience
- 7 years in logistics transportation or global trade compliance roles with increasing responsibility
- Hands-on experience with customs brokerage management import/export compliance and regulatory audits.
- Proven background managing international freight (air/ocean) parcel operations and multimodal shipping networks.
