The Role
APM Terminals is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Equipment Inspector to support the reliability and safety of critical terminal equipment. This role is central to maintaining operational excellence ensuring equipment performance remains at the highest standard and preventing costly downtime.

Key Responsibilities
Perform routine inspections using advanced diagnostic tools including vibration analysis thermography ultrasonics oil analysis and wire rope inspection
Identify performance trends detect early indicators of failure and recommend corrective or preventive measures
Support daily and weekly maintenance planning to optimize equipment uptime
Collect and analyze data in accordance with the AM Pd.M. program
Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) and failure investigations contributing to continuous reliability improvements
Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance activities and submit accurate monitoring reports in IFS

Required Qualifications & Experience
Minimum Bac 2 with vocational or technical training ideally with a diploma in automation or electronics
At least 5 years experience working with industrial machinery; experience in a marine port terminal environment is an advantage
Familiarity with predictive maintenance technologies and inspection tools
Experience using maintenance management platforms such as IFS
