Location:Neptune NJ07754
Schedule: 7:00 PM 7:30 AM 312s per week
Hours per Week: 36
Shift: Night Shift
Weekend/Holiday Requirements: Every Other Weekend Holidays as Needed

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join a high-acuity Neurosurgical Intensive Care Unit (Neuro ICU). The RN will be responsible for comprehensive patient care clinical assessment and coordination of nursing interventions for critically ill patients. Candidates should have strong critical care experience and the ability to work in a fast-paced collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate and assess patients while collaborating closely with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team.
Plan implement and document individualized nursing care based on patient needs and clinical priorities.
Identify patient care priorities through ongoing assessment intervention and evaluation.
Develop and coordinate personalized care plans based on patient condition and physician orders.
Perform therapeutic nursing interventions and manage the care of critically ill patients.
Accurately document all patient care according to established standards and acuity levels.
Advocate for and support evidence-based practice standards and innovations in care delivery.
Deliver patient-centered care aligned with professional nursing practice models.
Float to related ICU units as needed (MICU SICU CVICU).
Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills & Experience
Minimum 2 years of recent Critical Care (ICU) experience required.
Experience with neurosurgical patients ventilator management and EVD (External Ventricular Drain) strongly preferred.
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking ability.
Education Requirements
Required: Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN)
Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Required Certifications & Licensure
Active RN License NJ State License or Multistate Compact
BLS AHA
ACLS AHA
Telemetry Certification
NIHSS Certification
CEU: Stroke 4 Hours
