The Rare Cardiac Navigator Lead (Secondment) will lead the Navigator Commercial (non-sales) Function dedicated to supporting healthcare professionals (HCPs) and their offices in the area of transthyretin amyloid cardiomyopathy (ATTR-CM). This role is responsible for building and managing a high-performing team that delivers exceptional customer service and education through remote virtual channels. The Navigator team ensures seamless engagement across organizational functions tools and resources and facilitates scientific dialogue and support specific to ATTR-CM.
HOW YOU WILL ACHIEVE IT
Execute strategies to proactively educate HCPs provide customer support and connect with subject matter experts (SMEs) in a non-sales commercial capacity with a focus on ATTR-CM.
Build and lead a diverse qualified team of Rare Cardiac Navigators fostering deep therapeutic knowledge scientific expertise and credibility with ATTR-CM products.
Establish new approaches and workflows for the Navigator function ensuring effective collaboration across commercial and non-commercial colleagues to meet HCP needs related to ATTR-CM.
Implement engagement strategies for non-traditional HCPs and communities in the ATTR-CM space.
Identify and facilitate SME support across the enterprise to address HCP requests regarding ATTR-CM.
Provide strategic leadership contributing to relevant leadership teams and collaborating with cross-functional partners.
Continuously improve service levels by recommending enhancements to materials technology and processes and sharing best practices.
Optimize virtual engagement skills and ensure proficiency in digital tools and platforms.
Ensure full compliance with all relevant laws policies and processes.
Build a strong team culture promote colleague engagement and foster a feedback-driven continuous improvement mindset.
Develop training curricula and coaching strategies for ongoing Navigator development.
Establish reporting and analytics to monitor operational performance and inform executive leadership.
Partner with stakeholders to ensure understanding of the Navigator role and its integration with supporting functions.
Set team goals and hold members accountable for scientific knowledge communication compliance and technology use.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must-Have
BA/BS with 12 years of experience MBA/MS with 10 years of experience OR PhD or JD with 7 years of experience. Proven track record in healthcare customer engagement (HCPs and accounts).
Strong business acumen superior communication and presentation skills.
Ability to build strong professional relationships virtually in a dynamic environment.
Nice-to-Have
MD/DVM with 5 years of experience.
35 years of pharmaceutical or related healthcare experience.
Relevant therapeutic experience and expertise in ATTR-CM.
NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS
Some domestic travel may be required primarily between HQ and Pfizer Connect Centers
