About the Role
Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a Potential opportunity for a skilled and motivated Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist to join our healthcare team at White River Junction VA Medical Center Vermont. In this role youll be the expert behind the lens capturing the images that empower physicians to make lifechanging decisions.

- Full-time opportunities 40 hours per week with Day Evening and Night shift availability.

Requirements:
Graduate from an Academic Program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Diagnostic Sonography
Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
Have one year of fulltime continuous experience as an Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist and be fully proficient in all the duties required of an Technologist to the satisfaction of the department manager
- BLS Certification
What Youll Do : Duties include but not limited to:
- Perform routine diagnostic radiological procedures/services as appropriate
- Adhere to radiation safety policies and procedures in accordance with Radiology Department policies and procedures
- Send appropriate image series to the radiologist for reading according to MTF protocol
- Correctly position the patient for the examination and make technical adjustments necessary for the required examination
- Determine if any special patient preparation is required
- Process digital images and submit for interpretation by radiologists
