Job Summary
INTERNSHIP TYPE: Internship - APRN Level
HOURS/SCHEDULE: 15 hours/week Tuesday 9:45am-3:15pm & Thursday 9:45am-3:15pm
PROGRAM/LOCATION: Adult Outpatient Manchester CT
ABOUT THE PROGRAM: ADULT OUTPATIENT
The Adult Outpatient Services program (AOP) assists adult clients who are recovering from traumatic incidents substance use or are looking to manage a chronic mental health disorder through psychiatric & substance abuse diagnostic evaluation and treatment.
PROGRAM OUTLINE:
By participating as a Masters Level Intern with CHR you can expect to gain firsthand experience and training related to clinical mental health & substance abuse evaluation and treatment as well as other services including assessment working on independent living skills outreach treatment services and medication evaluation and monitoring.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Must be enrolled in a RN or APRN degree program.
Experience: Demonstrated experience in mental health treatment preferred but not required.
Licensure/Certification/Registration: Valid drivers license
