Job Title: Mammography Technologist

Shift: 07:30 AM 04:00 PM
Pay: $50$60/hour

Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to join a dynamic radiology team. The technologist will perform high-quality mammography and stereotactic breast procedures under the direction of a radiologist. The ideal candidate combines technical expertise with compassionate patient care and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality.

Responsibilities:

Perform mammography and stereotactic breast procedures per radiologist orders.
Prepare and educate patients for exams ensuring comfort and understanding.
Position patients accurately and adjust imaging parameters for optimal results.
Maintain quality standards according to ACR Mammography QA/QC guidelines and equipment-specific manuals.
Document patient information in the Radiology Information System (RIS) for clinical and billing purposes.
Fulfill continuing education requirements as outlined by MQSA.
Follow safety protocols infection control and institutional policies.
Assist with additional duties to support departmental operations and high-quality patient care.

Qualifications:

Associates Degree (AAS) in Radiologic Technology or equivalent.
Current NYS License/Registration or eligibility within 1 year of hire.
ARRT Mammography certification (or eligibility).
Minimum 1 year of progressive experience in mammography.
Current CPR certification.
