Role: Facilities Operative
Location: This is a mobile role covering a small group of primary schools in The Midsomer Norton Schools Partnership mainly based in the Midsomer Norton/Radstock area

Hours: 37 per week Monday to Friday all year around
Salary: Grade 5 scale point range 11 - 17 14.59 - 16.08 per hour 28142 - 31022 per annum

As part of the Facilities Team you will play a crucial role in supporting our schoolsespecially our primary schools in the Midsomer Norton/Radstock are ensuring they remain safe well-maintained and welcoming places for children to learn and thrive. We are seeking a proactive and skilled Mobile Facilities Operative to help maintain and enhance our school sites. This is a mobile role requiring travel between multiple primary schools within the Midsomer Norton area. Your work will directly improve the daily experience of pupils staff and visitors helping create safe clean and inspiring spaces for learning. A full clean driving licence is essential as the role requires daily travel using the Trusts maintenance van. This position includes opening and closing school buildings at the start and end of the day when required.

The Midsomer Norton Schools Partnership (MNSP) was founded in 2010 following the hard federation between Norton Hill and Somervale Schools. Both secondary schools serve Midsomer Norton, Radstock and the surrounding villages.
