The Opportunity & Role Profile
This major independent school seeks an experienced HR Manager to oversee all human resources functions. The role involves managing recruitment employee relations policy development and ensuring compliance with all employment legislation for both teaching and support staff.
Core Responsibilities & Duties Scope
Recruitment Specialist: Leading end-to-end recruitment processes including advertising safeguarding checks and onboarding new staff.
Compliance Controller: Ensuring rigorous adherence to employment law HR policies and safeguarding requirements (e.g. DBS checks).
Employee Relations: Advising senior leadership on staff performance disciplinary and grievance procedures.
Compensation & Benefits
Essential Requirements: Proven HR generalist experience ideally holding CIPD Level 5 or higher. Knowledge of the independent school sector or education is highly desirable.
Salary: Highly competitive salary compensated on the schools independent pay scale (expected to be 45000 - 55000 per annum).
