Job Description
A well-resourced and progressive primary school in Islington is hiring a skilled EYFS SEN TA to support multiple children within the Reception cohort who present with speech and language communication needs. Your role will involve running small-group language interventions modelling language through play and supporting social interactions between children. The school follows a communication-friendly approach and offers regular speech and language training to support your practice.
Key Skills
Strong understanding of speech and language delays
Ability to use visuals and modelling techniques
Excellent communication and rapport-building
Gentle supportive classroom manner
Strong record-keeping and observation
Requirements
Prior SEN experience (speech & language preferred)
DBS on update service
Right to work in the UK
Training in early communication strategies desirable
