Associate Investment Compliance Private Deals / Control Room

New York NY (Hudson Yards) Hybrid (2/3 schedule)

A leading global investment platform with $100B AUM is seeking anInvestment Compliance Associateto join its growing New York office. This is a high-visibility role supporting the firms expanding private credit and private investment activity with the opportunity to sit close to the deal process and partner directly with investment professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as part of the firmsControl Room: conflicts clearance wall-crossing restricted list oversight and MNPI management.
Review and negotiatedeal-related NDAsand support transaction onboarding.
Partner with investment teams on pipeline activity identifying and mitigating conflicts across public and private markets.
Support integration of compliance technology platforms and data migration.
Contribute to regulatory analysis policy updates and broader compliance initiatives.

Qualifications:

JD required (to manage NDA execution and legal issue spotting).
26 years of relevant compliance or legal experience ideally withcontrol room exposure at an investment bank.
Strong commercial understanding ofdeals structures and capital markets; more important than pure check-the-box compliance.
Experience handling MNPI/conflicts processes and familiarity with deal onboarding.
Ambitious detail-oriented and motivated to grow within a buy-side environment.
