Travel Temporary Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist
Location: Quentin N Burdick Memorial Healthcare Facility. Belcourt North Dakota 58316
Pay Rate: $50 per hour $31.15 Travel stipends (If applicable)
Schedule:
Shifts may be up to 16 hours between 7:30 A.M. 12:00 A.M. with a 1-hour lunch break or up to 8 hours between 8:00 A.M. 4:30 P.M. depending on the agreed schedule.
Contract Length: 1 year with the option to extend.
Benefits: $5.09 per hour for Health and Welfare PTO (5 days at 6 months 5 more at year) sick leave accrued 56 hours per year and holiday pay.
The Travel Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist will independently perform a wide range of ultrasound examinations using fixed and portable equipment. This position supports patient care by delivering high-quality imaging maintaining accurate records ensuring department quality control and collaborating with supervising technologists and clinical leadership as needed
Requirements:

1 year of experience in the role.

Ultrasound RDMS certification.

Current CPR card or Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
-
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification (preferable)

Two letters of reference from healthcare providers (Director of Radiology or X-ray supervisor)

The Contractor technologist(s) shall not have any work or health restrictions which interfere with the performance of radiology ultrasound services.

The Contractor technologists) shall speak understand read and write English fluently and communicate with sufficient clarity to be understood by Great Plains Area Indian Health Service personnel staff and patients.
Responsibilities:
-
Independently operate fixed and portable ultrasound equipment.
-
Perform a variety of ultrasound exams from routine to complex including breast mammography DVT and RVT (if certified).
-
Follow directions from the Chief Technologist or Radiology consultant for specialized examinations.
-
Perform basic ultrasound exams under supervision when applicable.
-
Maintain daily patient logs schedule special examinations and educate patients on preparation and procedures.
-
Participate in daily Quality Control activities for the ultrasound department.

Carry out additional duties assigned by higher-grade technologists or clinical leadership.

Assist in emergency situations including cardiac arrest CPR and anaphylactic reactions.
