The details: This is a large multidisciplinary team with approximately 40 clinicians. Fast paced hospital environment where clinicians treat a variety of diagnoses with a common mix of orthopedics neurological behavioral health and critical care caseloads. This candidate will focus on treatment including morning ADLs 1:1 treatment and facilitating group treatment. Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants with at least one (1) year hospital acute experience are encouraged to apply. The ideal candidate: Is someone who is excited to join a thriving and energetic team Is someone who loves to continue their education and learn more to better serve their patients Is someone who believes that patients deserve One on One care with a highly trained clinician Is someone who values a lifelong relationship with patients and who can provide therapy services across the lifespan The requirements: Degree from a ACOTE accredited school Current state licensure or eligibility in Occupational Therapy in Maryland Has one (1) year hospital acute care experience or experience Experience running Occupational Therapy groups a plus Strong documentation in an EMR (preferrably hospital based system) Basic Life Support through the American Red Cross or American Heart Association Will display strong skills in flexibility time management and communication Focuses on the patient and providing the utmost in customer service excellence The responsibilities: Deliver quality occupational therapy services according to treatment plans for patients Document with web-based software and documentation system (EMR) Meet all clinical departmental and regulatory expectations (Productivity standards 65% - 75% on a daily basis) Provide accurate and timely documentation for current patient caseload Conduct patient and family education Participate in a positive work environment to promote teamwork and communication Our therapist-driven culture is defined by the spirit of teamwork collaboration and collegiality.
