A veterinary practice in Valdosta Georgia is seeking a Lead Veterinarian to guide the medical team and foster a positive collaborative environment. This role is ideal for a veterinarian who enjoys both practicing high-quality medicine and supporting the professional growth of others.
Key Responsibilities
Provide medical leadership and uphold standards of patient care
Mentor and support associate veterinarians and technical staff
Partner with management on staffing scheduling and operational goals
Oversee compliance with state and federal veterinary regulations
Build client trust through clear communication and compassionate service
Balance a diverse caseload of medical appointments and surgeries
Qualifications
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree or equivalent (ECFVG/PAVE accepted)
Active veterinary license (or eligibility for licensure) in Georgia
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment
