Job Highlights:
Hours will be variable day shifts could be 10 hour shifts or 8 hours shifts depending on need evening shifts (1000-2030) weekend shifts are 10 hours (0700-1730 or 1000-2030)
This position will be trained on both clinical and operational workflows and may fill gaps on decentralized clinical pharmacy shifts or a central pharmacy shifts.
We do need PRNs to help fill in on weekends sometimes and would be great if the candidate is open to overnights.
Job Summary:
Provides pharmaceutical care to patients verifies medication orders compounds and dispenses pharmaceuticals in accordance with federal state and local regulations and hospital policy. Serves as a resource to other healthcare professionals including pharmacy students and residents and ensures that patient care meets standards of safety and effectiveness. Oversees the duties of the pharmacy technicians and interns.Job Responsibilities and Requirements:

REQUIRED PROFESSIONAL LICENSE AND/OR CERTIFICATIONS
Resuscitation Certification Requirement: Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (BLS HCP) required within 90 day of employment. Other resuscitation certifications may be required dependent on department.
