Type: 13-Week Contract
Shift: 9:00 AM 5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $50$55 per hour

Position Summary

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a skilled Registered Ultrasound Technologist to perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations and support imaging operations. This role requires strong technical expertise attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare and position patients for ultrasound exams following established protocols.
Operate adjust and maintain ultrasound equipment; ensure safe practices and prevent electrical or operational hazards.
Perform imaging procedures and upload studies to PACS for physician review.
Clean set up and make minor adjustments to imaging equipment as needed.
Maintain adequate inventory of supplies for daily operations.
Assist in training and orienting new ultrasound team members.
Answer phones schedule exams and coordinate patient transport as necessary.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Experience

ARDMS Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS).
02 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard office software.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
High attention to detail accuracy and professionalism.

Education Requirements

Required:

Associates Degree in Diagnostic Medical Technology
OR
High School Diploma/GED and completion of an accredited Ultrasound/Sonography training program

Certifications:

ARDMS Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS)
BLS Certification
