Schedule: Monday-Friday 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM (40 hours/week)
Duration: 90 days (Expected Start: Dec 29 2025 End: Apr 13 2026)
Summary
Trinity Health is seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technician with neuro/stroke experience to join our Interventional Radiology department. The role involves performing diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures ensuring patient safety and maintaining high-quality imaging standards. On-call duties are required including weekday evenings and alternating weekends.
Key Responsibilities

Prepare examination rooms and radiographic equipment for patient procedures.

Administer radiopharmaceuticals to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.

Position patients and equipment explain procedures and ensure patient comfort throughout.

Enter commands and data into imaging systems adjusting density and contrast as needed.

Monitor patients during exams following safety protocols to minimize radiation exposure.

Produce diagnostic images and communicate critical findings to physicians.

Maintain and update patient records accurately.

Organize daily procedure schedules including emergency cases.

Perform administrative duties including answering technical questions scheduling and pre-procedure guidance.

Conduct scheduled maintenance and emergency repairs on imaging equipment.
Required Skills & Experience

Minimum 1 year of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technician.

Hands-on experience with neuro/stroke procedures preferred.

Knowledge of radiopharmaceutical administration and imaging protocols.

Familiarity with patient positioning safety procedures and radiation protection.

Strong organizational and communication skills.

Ability to perform under minimal supervision while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.

Comfortable with on-call schedule (weekdays 3:30 PM-7:00 AM; weekends 7:00 AM-7:00 AM every other week).
