Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced DevOps / AWS Engineer to design build and optimize cloud-native infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in AWS services automation scripting and infrastructure-as-code practices. This role requires strong troubleshooting abilities a mindset for continuous improvement and the ability to work collaboratively with development and operations teams.

Key Responsibilities

Cloud Infrastructure (AWS)

• Design deploy and manage scalable secure AWS cloud environments.

• Work with core AWS services such as EC2 VPC IAM S3 Lambda RDS CloudWatch CloudTrail and ELB.

• Implement Infrastructure as Code using tools like Terraform CloudFormation or CDK.

CI/CD & Automation

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins GitHub Actions GitLab CI or AWS CodePipeline.

• Automate build test and deployment processes to improve release efficiency.

Containerization & Orchestration

• Work with Docker containers and container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes EKS or ECS.

Monitoring & Reliability

• Configure monitoring logging and alerting systems (CloudWatch Prometheus Grafana ELK Datadog).

• Improve system reliability scalability and performance through SRE best practices.

Security & Compliance

• Implement AWS security best practices including IAM policies encryption secrets management and logging.

• Support governance patching and vulnerability remediation.

Collaboration & Support

• Work closely with development QA and infrastructure teams to enable smooth deployments.

• Troubleshoot production issues and ensure high availability of critical systems.

Required Skills

• 5-10 years of experience as a DevOps Cloud or AWS Engineer.

• Strong hands-on expertise with a wide range of AWS services.

• Proficiency in Terraform / CloudFormation for IaC.

• Solid experience with CI/CD pipelines.

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes (EKS preferred).

• Strong scripting skills in Python Shell or Bash.

• Experience with monitoring and logging tools.

• Strong understanding of networking concepts (VPC Subnets Routing Security Groups).

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS Certifications (AWS Solutions Architect DevOps Engineer SysOps Admin).

• Experience with microservices serverless architectures and distributed systems.

• Familiarity with Agile and DevSecOps practices.
