Work Schedule:

100% FTE 4-10 hour shifts Monday-Friday between the hours of 6:00 am and 4:00 pm. Hours may vary based on operational needs in the department.

As an Advanced Practice Provider youll play an integral role in our care teams by providing high-quality cost-effective care to patients.

We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to:

  • Provide comprehensive care to surgical oncology patients with varying acuity and diagnoses in both the inpatient and outpatient settings.
  • Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary health team to provide consistent high-quality care to our patients.
  • Perform procedures such as: suture and drain removal seroma aspiration and wound care.
  • Participate in daily rounding and collaborate with attending physician and residents in order to adjust plans of care.

Education:

Minimum

If Nurse Practitioner: Masters or Doctorates degree from accredited Nursing Program.

If Physician Assistant: Bachelors or Masters degree from accredited PA Program.

Licenses and Certifications:

Minimum

If Nurse Practitioner: Active RN and APNP license in State of Wisconsin AND active board certification as a NP in Adult; Adult/Gerontology Primary Care; Emergency; Family; Gerontology.

If Physician Assistant: Active PA license in State of Wisconsin AND active PA board certification.

*All Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant applicants must have: Active DEA license or ability to apply for such license prior to or upon hire AND CPR certification.*
