Job Summary

Perform electrical installation maintenance and repair of equipment and systems.
Use electrical measuring instruments such as multimeters and meggers for testing and diagnostics.
Work on medium voltage systems (240V 415V) both direct and alternating current.
Install connect and troubleshoot electric motors including understanding different motor starting methods.
Operate and maintain soft starters and variable speed drives (VSD) from various manufacturers.
Read and interpret electrical schematics wiring diagrams and technical drawings.
Ensure electrical work complies with safety standards and company policies.
Perform preventive maintenance and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Work effectively with minimal supervision and provide technical support to production teams when required.

Requirements

Educational Requirements:

OND/Trade Test Certificate in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or related field.

Minimum of four (4) years relevant experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment with hands-on experience with electric motors control panels and VSD systems.

Technical troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Strong attention to detail and safety consciousness.

Ability to work independently under minimal supervision and as part of a team.
