- Perform electrical installation maintenance and repair of equipment and systems.
- Use electrical measuring instruments such as multimeters and meggers for testing and diagnostics.
- Work on medium voltage systems (240V 415V) both direct and alternating current.
- Install connect and troubleshoot electric motors including understanding different motor starting methods.
- Operate and maintain soft starters and variable speed drives (VSD) from various manufacturers.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics wiring diagrams and technical drawings.
- Ensure electrical work complies with safety standards and company policies.
- Perform preventive maintenance and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Work effectively with minimal supervision and provide technical support to production teams when required.
Requirements
Educational Requirements:
OND/Trade Test Certificate in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or related field.
Minimum of four (4) years relevant experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment with hands-on experience with electric motors control panels and VSD systems.
Key Competencies:
Technical troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Strong attention to detail and safety consciousness.
Ability to work independently under minimal supervision and as part of a team.
