Job Summary
What Youll Do
Inventory & Stock Management
Ensure the availability of high-quality raw materials that meet required specifications.
Maintain accurate inventory records and enforce FIFO/FEFO principles.
Conduct cycle counts stock audits and reconcile variances promptly.
Ensure timely accurate documentation and reporting.
Warehouse Operations & Productivity
Lead and supervise daily warehouse activities (receiving put-away picking packing loading dispatch).
Optimise warehouse layout for efficiency speed and safety.
Ensure adherence to operational SOPs and compliance standards.
Monitor KPIs such as order accuracy picking efficiency and turnaround time and drive continuous improvement.
People Leadership
Lead and manage warehouse teams (storekeepers loaders forklift operators etc.).
Oversee staff scheduling training performance management and discipline.
Foster teamwork productivity and a culture of accountability.
Security & Loss Prevention
Implement strong controls to prevent pilferage theft and product damage.
Supervise CCTV access control and warehouse security procedures.
Investigate discrepancies and drive corrective actions.
Requirements
Who You Are
HND/BSc in Supply Chain Social Sciences Sciences Commercials or related fields.
Minimum 10 years relevant experience including 5 years in a managerial role within a Food or Food-related industry.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in MS Word Excel PowerPoint and ERP/inventory management systems.
Detail-oriented highly organised and an effective leader with strong resource management skills.
Strong understanding of warehouse systems inventory control and space optimisation.
